Xignite Support Engineer
Job Description:
The position is responsible for monitoring servers and services for Client to ensure 99.99% service up time using proprietary monitoring tools, as well as maintaining and enhancing the tool itself. The candidate must be willing to work at a flexible work schedule including participation in rotating weekend shifts. The successful candidate should process programming skills (in VB.Net and/or C#) and be a good learner of new technologies. The successful candidate should have the ability to work independently as well as in small team environment. The successful candidate should also be able to track down, log, debug, and fix problems in the long run. He/she must have excellent verbal and communication skills in English.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Resolve customer technical support issues independently.
2. Monitor all of Client's servers and data processing programs during his/her work hours using our monitoring applications;
3. Respond to any issues that arise according to our specification detailed in our error handling documents;
4. Help log errors and report them if they are not previously seen. Being able to help solve them is a plus;
5. Help enhance the monitoring application;
6. Help write additional error handling documents when needed;
7. Perform any additional daily operational tasks that are required;

Required Skill Sets:
1. B.S. in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
2. Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
3. Familiar with software application in Windows environment
4. At least one year experience in software support
5. A quick learner as he or she needs to learn many things in a short time in order to perform the job responsibilities
6. Fluent in English speaking and writing as the candidate may need to communicate with the US team frequently and even clients from time to time
7. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services

Optional:
1. Background in financial services/software/project (e.g., stock, banking) will be an added advantage
