能力要求：5年及以上DB2或Oracle数据库开发管理经验。

熟悉数据仓库和Perl, Shell脚本开发优先。

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Database Software Engineer will report to the Database Engineering Manager and will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing database infrastructure to implement new product features. Ideal candidate will have strong database design & development experience. This candidate should possess good communication skills and be able to architect and articulate software solutions. This position requires significant interaction with engineers, QA and Production teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1） Design, architect and implement scalable database solutions.
2） Be creative in handling performance-related challenges as they relate to very large data movement within and between databases and flat files.
3） Enhance current database schema to add new product features.
4） Design and implement complex SQL queries and database Stored Procedures.
5） Perform database-related code reviews and make recommendations.
6） Be effective in articulating and communicating design and implementation.
REQUIREMENTS
1） 5 years of software development experience with large databases – preferably IBM DB2 or Oracle on UNIX.
2） BS in Computer Science or equivalent, Masters.
3） Strong communication and inter-personal skills, good written and oral English communication skills.
4） Have strong desire to learn new concepts and technologies.
5） Following are a plus:
Familiarity with J2EE, Java/JDBC-based database solutions.
Familiarity with Perl, and UNIX shell scripting.
Exposure to data warehousing and data marts.
