- For our IC RL business, we're looking for Supplier Quality Engineer in Qingdao:

What are my responsibilities?
1. Qualifying and approving new suppliers (local sourcing and global sourcing) by means of quality management methods e.g. technical survey supporting, process audits, quality gate reviews etc.
2. Plan, initiate and steer sustainable preventive and corrective measures (Fire Fighting) and/or quality assurance measures (First Article Inspection, production process audits, quality checks) for all products and services of suppliers in order to meet the quality requirements of our customers.
3. Collect, report and evaluate all quality relevant information about suppliers and purchased parts in order to obtain reliable forecasts (product quality, quality costs, logistics performance) and to be able to determine and implement appropriate corrective measures and preventive measures.
4. Initiate and support a project-spanning, continuous improvement process internally and at the supplier. Perform internal and external improvement projects in order to improve all quality related weaknesses and interface problems.
5. Support supplier evaluation (together with cross function e.g. engineering, projects, procurement, logistics) for both local suppliers but also HQ suppliers with global footprint and their development.
6. Support for delegation of QM experts of the customer to China and integration into the local SQE – function on request.
7. Developing and maintaining an optimum QM strategy properly attuned to subsystems,
components and material, e. g conducting risk assessments and initiating necessary corrective and preventive measures both at the supplier and internally, conducting strategic supplier assessments (quality) and agreeing on and monitoring measures for improvement.
8. Further development and standardization of all processes, tools of SQM and it's impementation.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor Degree or above, major in mechnical/electrical engineering or related subject
- More than 6 years relevant experience
- More than 4 years experience in transportation industry
- Fluent English communication
- Good problem solving skills
