General Duties and Responsibilities:

·Prepare print materials, technology and supplemental materials prior to the start of each class

·Ensure classes are run efficiently and start and end as scheduled
·Deliver course contents using multimedia materials with a variety of audio-visual aids

·Collect audio & visual portfolio evidence of language learner work during lessons
·Interact with both parents and children in a way that makes language learning fun, engaging and educational

·Provide private lessons as required due to children absences or for children that are falling behind

·Regularly maintain contact with parents in order to keep them informed as to their child’s learning progress and behavior and to give recommendations to parents regarding how to aid their child’s English learning at home

·Attend weekly meetings to communicate all pertinent learner and classroom management issues
·Participate in Center promotional and social events as needed
Required Qualifications:
·Early childhood education degree

·24 months of recent work experience teaching/working with students/children in an educational, recreational, athletic or camp setting with a minimum12 months consecutive employment

·English language fluency including, but not limited to: proper grammar, sentence structure, word tense, subject-verb agreement, and proper use of adjectives and adverbs
·A passion for children and their development
·Energetic, enthusiastic approach to delivering content to children
·Customer-service oriented with strong problem solving skills
·Additional strengths in children’s music, dance, art and drama strongly preferred
