What would you be doing?
? Support the Project Managers with the completion of lengthy, complex mechanical projects.
? Provide effective translation services between PML and China stakeholders
? Assist with concept development, client design reviews and quotation development.
? Defining project scope and KPIs, and manage against these ensuring stakeholders are engaged throughout the project.
? Supporting the successful installation, commissioning and acceptance process.
? Co-ordinating post-commission requirements
? Project managing small projects

What does it take to be a Project Engineer?
Highly capable recent mechanical engineering graduate with 1 -2 years relevant commercial experience who wishes to develop their mechanical engineering and project management skills within a complex and innovative engineering environment.

To be successful in this role you will need to understand both the kiwi and Asian culture and therefore, you must have spent at least your University education in New Zealand (or Australia).

Along with enjoying the project team environment, good collaboration and influencing skills are important along with a customer focus. As our major clients are Asian, Project Engineers must be able to travel internationally and speak both Mandarin and English fluently.
