Responsibilities:

The main task for the Plant Manager is to manage operational excellence to reach strategic targets. This by providing world class levels of efficiencies, quality and customer service in a safe & environmental friendly working environment. This responsibility includes but is not limited to;

* P&L and BS responsibility for BU Operations

* Actively drive continuous improvement and cost down initiatives

* Development and execution of capacity-, investment- and capability strategies

* Actively driving operational excellence programs to world class KPI′s

* Legal operational compliance necessary permits & approvals with authorities

* Drive teamwork in a world class, customer focused organization

* Manage and continuously develop the organization′s capability and efficiency

* Provide motivation to the organization by giving responsibilities, clear targets, personal development opportunities in a positive and safe working environment

* Be a driving force in our Production Network for global benchmarking activities

Requirement:

* University degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering.

* Ability to further develop and manage the manufacturing, work actively to improve production processes and increase productivity and cut cost.

* Extensive hands-on Experience from production management in China.

* Knowledge and experience in production methods and tools. (EQMS. 5S, lean, kanban, WMS, JIT, VMI, consignment stock, etc)

* Knowledge of different ISO quality systems is an asset.

* ERP knowledge.

* Computer operation skills: Windows, Microsoft Office; Capable in CAD

* Ability to develop himself and his subordinates

* Excellent interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills

* Good command of written and spoken English

* Ability to develop relationships with sister companies’ operation management teams

* Customer oriented and flexible

* Quality oriented
