Provide technical advice and support to ensure that the brand requirements are met. This involves but not limited to Sample Review and Approval, Technical Advice and Support and Technical Control. The role will handle menswear woven, Knitwear for menswear and ladies wear (heavy knit and soft knit), 3rd party quality inspection coordination


Job description

1) Review and approve samples to ensure that they meet product specifications
? Review samples such as style, construction, workmanship, quality, measurement and write sample comments
? Approve sample specifications and quality
? Identify and resolve potential safety standard issues such as construction and colorization
? Discuss headquarters comments and improvement areas with headquarters, factories and merchandisers
2) Provide technical advice and support to factories, headquarters, Merchandising staff and technical team members
? Explain brand requirements, key points and comments to factories
? Identify and resolve potential issues of samples
? Discuss alternatives with factories based on headquarters comments
? Provide guidance on materials, fitting, specifications and construction
? Provide technical advice and suggestions to factories to improve their performance and capability

3) Provide technical control to factories and Merchandising staff
? Update factories on the brand requirements
? Discuss work progress and issues / difficulties encountered with merchandisers

Requirements

? Bachelor Degree in textile or garment technology
? 5-15 years in apparel technology area with apparel manufacturer, buying office/agent and trader
? Ever stayed with global sourcing office, brand buying office, buying agent or trader
? Knowledgeable of apparel technology and quality standard, textile material, production, QA and compliance
? Very familiar with supplier communication and cooperation for apparel manufacturing in China area
? Respond to brand business needs in a timely manner with minimal supervision
? A team player who can give full effort to meeting brand's technique and quality standard
? Open to Listen to others and ask questions to obtain needed information and flexible to coordinate among relevant parties to resolve problem issues
? Efficient to make changes to ensure accuracy, quality and thoroughness
? Quickly improvise solutions to unanticipated problems in a timely manner
? Good time management skills to allow sufficient time to complete tasks to meet assigned deadlines
? Demonstrate flexibility in work situations
? Good energy level to adapt to travel mobility
? Intermediate computer skills
? Good command of English skills both in verbal and written form, used to working in an English speaking international environment
? Good fashion Sense is a plus.
