PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing Innovative solutions and content to inspire, educate and solve customers technical problems and promote RS as the engineers preferred route for engineering solutions

Provide technical marketing content to support the communication and campaign activity from our key suppliers and group including maintaining Design Spark community moderation in local language, ensuring accuracy of group content in local language.

Work with Group Technical Marketing team, eCommerce team and suppliers to identify technical solutions or information that we can leverage-e.g. reviewing zero search results, customer product reviews and information from external sites.

Monitoring technology advances and implement campaigns to demonstrate RS' market leading position in the technical support and supply of solutions to support said technology.

Provide supplier sourced technically authoritative content and collateral across all media and channels

Work with external agencies to create technically authoritative press releases and white papers for internal and external publications

Work with Product Managers & key suppliers to secure information and campaign funding

Ensure all communications are technically accurate in local language.




KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Excellent Automation & Control Technical knowledge with practical design & build experience

Diploma/Degree (Automation engineering essential)

Knowledge and experience of B2B marketing especially to Electrical Engineers, the technologies they buy and the automation market preferred.

Understanding of technical trends and developments in Automation and broader engineering environment essential

Excellent technical communications skill and Internet social networking practical knowledge is preferred
