Key Account Manager
Reporting to: President, Sales & Business Development
Position Summary
This role will identify new business opportunities and grow the existing business within the prescribed AGT sectors of interest. S/he will set up a winning strategy to close contracts and to develop and implement channel plans and programs, via distributors and other key partners/alliances that will increase the presence and solidify the standing of AGT International as the provider of the best-in-class solutions in the market place.
Responsibilities
§ Deliver the O/I figures for the country / region responsible for
§ Prospect territory and build the platform of new opportunities and establish sales strategy
§ Develop detailed capture plan and drive its implementation
§ Responsible to move project through the WTC process and ensure best quality
§ Responsible for financial offering and contract negotiation
§ Establish relationship with the economic buyer and support the Sales Engineer in its activity with the Customer technical evaluation team
§ Establish trustful relationship with the technical partners and determine what will be the winning price
§ Ensure that proposal made is fully compliant and competitive
§ Fully support the administration of the bid process, i.e. proper legal document, on-time delivery etc.
§ Communicate weekly activities and account development progresses with the team and at the same time Communicate in details on each opportunity / new prospect during regular business reviews
§ Submit accurate monthly forecast and participate in the construction of the 5-year plan for assigned territory
§ Work closely with marketing in providing intelligence on competitor’s products, pricing and activities
Skills and Experience
§ Minimum of 5 years experiences in executing system sales
§ Proven track record of major sales success
Dynamic and willingness to accept intensive travelling constraints on short notice
§ Experience with complex (multi-deciders) customer decision process
§ Past experience(s) as Sales Engineer or Project Manager is a plus
§ Capacity to federate around a capture team, i.e. Sales Engineer, Bid Support, Project Manager, Marketing, Finance and to organize their activities
§ Experience in dealing with external consultant / business partner
§ Experience in developing partnerships for go-to-market strategy
