Northern China Regional Office - General Manager
Job Description:
1. Lead and manage a team comprising Sales, Application Technology, Customer Service to deliver monthly Sales and annual revenue/profit targets for Northern China Regional Office.
2. Assist in projects by delivering world class standard services to Customers.
3. Manage Customers and Operation costs in key cities in Northern China.
4. Achieve monthly revenue forecasts and profit targets for Northern China.
5. Monitor Northern China Sales and Customer Service performance through targets, objectives, call reports and weekly plans.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 8 years of service/sales experience in the machine tool industry and experience working in a global MNC company, combined with a good technical understanding of CNC milling and EDM machines.
2. University degree in Engineering or Business Studies or equivalent
3. Experience in managing a team comprising different trades from HR, Admin, Sales & Engineers.
4. Good Management & Decision Making Skills
5. Being sales oriented, having market sense and good negotiation skills are important
6. Good technical understanding and able to understand products and application technologies in machining.
7. Good understanding of Finance, HR and General Administration.
8. Mother tongue Chinese and able to communicate in English fluently both spoken and written.

2. Highly inquisitive, passion for problem solving and getting to the root cause of issues. Extreme comfort in managing details.
3. Can collaborate effectively with people at all levels and bring diverse people and teams together to develop optimal solutions. Not afraid to get hands dirty and solve issues at all levels of the organization.
4. Have an excellent understanding of how to effectively bring new products and technologies to market. Innovative in thinking yet practical and commercial.
5. Hands on motivational leader, mentor, and team builder. Able to create an environment of “constructive tension” to get the best from each individual and the organization.
6. Can lead by example, knows how to present and influence, be proactive, a high energy level.
Able to think on their feet, can deal with both direct and ambiguous circumstances with a level head.
