Job description

*Drive and implement measurable improvements within the Company, the main areas of focus will be to challenge and improve the areas of production, quality, logistics and engineering. .

*Responsible for setting the local strategy for the Organization and developing the Senior Management Team to create a winning spirit.

*Initiate plans and process which minimize costs through effective utilization of labor, equipment, materials and facilities.

*Ensure delivery of products through close cooperation with local and global supply chain colleagues.

*Drive and support strategies to ensure inventory is managed to meet demands, on-time delivery and financial objectives for limited inventory value.

*Champion and promote best practices that improve the environmental, health and safety results for the factory.

*Will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the financial data.

Requirements

*Requirements for this position will include a minimum of five (5) years broad-based leadership experience gained within a manufacturing environment

*Bachelor’s degree and formal training in lean/six sigma tools (Important!).

*Experience in driving lean business improvements with a working knowledge of lean tools and the ability to work cross functionally in teams.

*A strong analytical mind who approaches business issues in a structured manner and organizational capabilities.

*Establish and maintain strong effective working relationships

*Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and the ability to work within a challenging matrix organizations

*Proven computer abilities

*Experience from ERP systems and MS Office

*Ability and willingness to take unpopular decision for the good of the company.
