Position: Sales & Business Development Head Asia (通信行业)
Report to: Director Global Connector Sales
Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities:
? This position will oversee all business for Corporation’s TCS division in Asia with a focus on Greater China.
? The incumbent will be responsible for the development of a thorough understanding of existing and prospective markets, customers, and competitors and for achieving and reporting on progress towards targeted growth levels and sales and margin budgets for the region.
? The Sales & Business Development Head Asia will be expected to assist in the development of long range strategic planning for the group and create and manage a sales and marketing strategy, develop and execute a plan for new business and account penetration, create solution proposals, maintain competitive pricing to achieve targeted margins, project budgets, secure contract deals and maintain favorable relations with customers.
? Successful candidates will be able to manage and motivate a regionally-organized sales team. The incumbent will also maintain contact with our manufacturing sites in Asia and the Americas to ensure a high level of customer service including meeting customer expectations of quality and on time delivery and will coordinate activities and plans with other operations when necessary.
Requirement:
? What we are seeking is a sales professional with an academic degree preferably in engineering or finance and a successful track record as a sales leader in a global business environment of products for demanding electronics sectors such as telecom & IT. The incumbent must be a true leader and persuasive and adept at relationship building and client networking.
? Furthermore, we are looking for a professional with strong strategic business acumen and planning ability, and demonstrated experience in the following business skills: strategic planning, emphasizing excellence, managing processes, organizational development, and market knowledge, financial planning, leadership and client relationships.
? The incumbent must be able to clearly communicate and influence, verbally and written, in English and Mandarin. As a true leader you engage & inspire, and demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with and motivate professional, sales, and managerial personnel.
? Meet or exceed sales goals at targeted customers.
? Expand market share while maintaining target profitability.
? Expand current market of customers.
? Continue to grow and develop a strong front-end-team with Sales Engineers, Application Engineers, and Account Management.
