Fascility：
Objective of the Position / 岗位目标
The Position will (lead a team of technicians to) oversee the operations of all building systems and ensure they run efficiently, safely and cost-effectively. He/she is also responsible for achieving excellence in critical environment maintenance management program at client's premise, ensuring highest standards delivered and best practices implemented. (Together with a team of engineers,) the Senior Facilities Engineer is to provide comprehensive engineering, critical environment management and technical services to client, with a focus on continuous improvement and risk management.
Principal Accountabilities ( % of time, What, How and Why) / 主要职责（时间、工作内容的分配）
1/( 5%) Strictly follow company EHS & 5S policies and regulations. Follow R&D personnel's individual EHS responsibilities listed in 'EHS Responsibilities Management Program'.


Leadership (where applicable)
- Ensure that technician is qualified and trained to perform the duties they are expected to carry out
- Develop and sustain a high-quality well motivated team
- Lead by example and groom the team in achieving maximum client satisfaction level
- Provide technical advice and guidance for service delivery team
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Review the maintenance/service practices of M&E contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations, established processes, tools and documentation
- Plan and manage budgets for Engineering & Operational contracts
- Manage contract vendors for technical services
Risk Management
- Ensure proper engineering documentation and adherence to the established change management controls for all sites
- Protect the health and safety of staff and others by adhering to and developing guidelines and strategies
- Conduct audits to ensure that all safety procedures, including disaster recovery and business continuity plan and escalation procedures are in place and maintained
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards
Site Operations
- Plan and take responsibility for smooth operations of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing installations and Civil works pertaining to the facility
- Manage M&E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables within the time
- Continuous optimization of processes, tools and documentation
　
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- 7 years of technical (and supervisory) experience in building engineering or equivalent preferred
- Solid background in engineering , plant machinery, BMS, systems and equipment knowledge
- Analytical, proven ability to solve problems
- Excellent planning & organizational skills to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
- Proven ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters on a daily basis
- Ability to effectively deal with stressful situations
- Open to new ideas & willing to challenge
- Able to interact with high authorities to manage conflicts and balance conflicting interests between client and firm requirements and has a customer-oriented attitude; also demonstrates a proactive and professional approach to customer service
- Ability to lead team effectively, train them well and promote open, constructive and collaborative relationships at all levels
- Good presentation skills and possesses strong verbal & written communication skills (English & local language); also an active listener
- Self-motivated and confident
- Able to adapt to rapidly changing situations
- Able to work independently and be a team player
