Mission:
1.Perform civil engineering calculations and design for Rolling Mills, Process Lines & Finishing Lines projects
2.Perform steel structure calculations and design for Rolling Mills, Process Lines & Finishing Lines projects
Dimension:
?1.Responsible for basic and/or detail design of civil and steel structures.
?2.Reporting to the Senior Civil Engineer
Contacts:
?1.Internal: Section manager, lead engineer, team members, experts from UK Headquarters, Siemens manufacturing facilities
?2.External: Customer, suppliers
Tasks:
?1.Basic Civil Engineering - Prepare basic design drawing of mechanical equipment at the equipment area before creating construction engineering drawings.
?2.Steel Structure Engineering - Prepare basic and detail design drawings, BOMs and manufacture information
?3.Site Civil Engineering - Solve installation/commissioning problems on site and/or pass details of design problems to COMPANY or HQ for resolution
?4.Engineering Liaison (General) - Act as a link between Siemens and the Client. Passing information from contacts within the industry to senior members of the engineering team.
Knowledge/Languages:
?1.2D Design with AutoCAD Mechanical
?2.Principle of civil design technology and/or steel structure engineering
?3.Communication Skills
?4.Rolling Technology experience/ Process line experience
?5.English language skills, including technical language
