Mission:
?1.Build up and lead a fluids (hydraulic, lubrication, water,...) engineering Team in our COMPANY Metals Technology group. Undertake fluids design tasks on projects in conjunction with the COMPANY mechanical engineering group based in Shanghai. Transfer and build-up fluids expertise within the group. Link between Headquarters (UK) and local organizations.

?2.Responsible for the quality, expenditure and scheduling of basic and detailed fluids engineering drawings and specifications
Contacts:
?Internal: Section manager, team members, experts from HQ in UK, Siemens manufacturing facilities external: Customer, suppliers
Tasks:
? 1.Basic Fluids Engineering Prepare fluids specifications block and circuit diagrams. Covering all media; hydraulic systems, oil and grease lubrication, water, air and nitrogen systems.
?2.Detail Fluids Engineering Prepare detail drawings of valve stands and components. Create circuits and BOMs for all media.
?3.Engineering Liaison (Client) Act as a link between Siemens and the Client. Answering Client questions by e-mail/telephone or attending Kick-off and Design meetings.
?4.Engineering Liaison (Headquarters) Provide fluids engineering know-how specific to the Chinese market (e.g. knowledge of Chinese equivalents to European Standards). Act as a link between COMPANY and headquarters where there is an split in design scope
?5.Personnel Development Identifying training & development requirements of engineering team.
?6.Hours Control Estimating and keeping track of hours required to carry out individual engineering tasks
?7.Recruiting Interviewing candidates to gauge technical knowledge
?8.Quality Ensure all drawings prepared by subordinates conform to all Siemens standards and that the engineering is of the standard expected by Clients of Siemens
?9.Build up a fluids engineering capability in COMPANY Shanghai.
Knowledge/Languages:
?1.2D Design with AutoCAD Mechanical
?2.Principle of fluids design technology and/or hydraulic engineering
?3.Good Communication Skills
?4.Rolling Technology experience
?5.English language skills, including technical language
Experience:
?1.Experience in Steel Industry, Heavy Industry
?2.3 years minimum experience as Fluids Project Engineer or Fluids Design Engineer for the heavy industry
?3.Experience of leading small/medium project teams
?4.Experience in international teams
