ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The objective of this role is to increase the usage of company labeling and packaging materials based upon a deep understanding of the Beverages (Beverages, Beer, Wine & Spirits) market packaging needs throughout Asia Pacific.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
? Develop and implement a Asia Pacific region strategy
? Work with global and regional Product Management on optimization of the Product portfolio: Sales, Profitability, SKU optimization, multi-generation product plan aligned regionally and globally wherever possible.
? Translation of best practices from North America / EU within the region as well as local best practices (Total applied cost models, portfolio)
? Identify and Influence partners across the value chain with a strong emphasis on Beverage Brand Owners and company Channel Customers. - What is our best approach, with whom do we partner and where do we focus.
? Based upon the understanding of the unmet needs of the end user, work with the PTI group and Product Management to develop sustainable differentiated solutions that will be valued by the entire value chain
? Market communications (translate from global / local where necessary and possible)
? Working with local sales- and marketing teams to develop and drive execution of strategy
? Provide training to local Marketing and Sales teams to ensure the above is successful

? Broad understanding of business issues, metrics, organizational linkages, and customer value.
? Ability to challenge the organization in a manner that maintains trust and respect.
? Self-confident, ability to accept and respond to challenges in a positive manner
EDUCATION and other requirements
? Degree in Packaging or Marketing
? 5-7 years work experience either at a Beverages brand owner, or at a supplier to the beverage industry
? Experience with indirect selling, equipment selling or comparable complex sales
? Ability to travel locally and internationally, estimated 50% of time
? Ability to appreciate and work across cultural differences
? Fluent in English and Mandarin. Indian is a bonus.
