JOB TITLE:Senior Business Analyst
REPORTING TO (ROLE):Business Analysis Manager
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
1.Working as part of a project team, perform liaison and facilitation function between business and IT to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes.
2.Analyze business needs to help identify business problems and propose solutions
3.Ensuring feasibility studies and projects are completed on time, within budget and according to agreed quality standards
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Perform project scope management to ensure scope and deliverables of all projects under area of direction are defined and agreed upon to enable the meeting of customer expectations
2.Communicate progress against project plans to stakeholders on a regular basis
3.Provide input for business case development and user documentation of business requirement specification (BRS)
4.Ensure early engagement of stakeholders in early phases of a project
5.Develop junior analysts through coaching and mentoring
6.Gather information to support fact bases analysis, document key assumptions, findings and develop robust recommendations to support the requirements
7.Assist the business to discuss and understand the points of view of various stakeholders and move towards agreed solutions
8.Provide assistance in user acceptance test (UAT) to verify user requirements are met
9.Act as IT workstream leader / IT project manager for specific projects
10.Seek feedback from project sponsors and key stakeholders on an on-going basis to ensure satisfaction and improvement are delivered
11.Assist BA manager in planning and implementation of business analysis actvities
12.Ensure responsibly of management obey government laws, rules & inspection rules and discharge obligation of anti-money.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: ?
University degree in relevant disciplines
More than 5 years of experience in IT, insurance business units or business analysis for financial services industry domains
Some project management experience
Proven ability to undertake and manage large and complex business analysis projects.
Good facilitation, communications and presentation skills
