Our client is a world famous passage car company

Responsibilities:

- Work involves providing technical assistance in the development of suppliers and in the sourcing of parts from the Asia Pacific (AP) region for use globally.

- Will work with Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve issues related to part requirements and standards.

- Work with Supplier Development organization in assessment of supplier's capabilities.

- Apply advanced knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes to guide the improvement of supplier performance.

- Work with Group and suppliers to develop alternatives to the engineering and manufacturing processes that are acceptable to both.

- Independent judgment is required with some direction from the supervisor.

- Work with Global Engineering in the development of new technologies for use in vehicles around the world.

Requirements:

- University Degree, with a major in automotive related - Electrical Engineering (also automotive related Physics or Applied Computer Science). Advanced degree desirable.

- Understand technical standards, part specifications, critical part characteristics and required process controls.

- Knowledge of geometric design and tolerance

- 4 or more years experience in the development of CAN BUS system , GMLAN and serial data

- Experiences with multinational corporation engineering, quality, and manufacturing standards.

- Part design experience.

- Experience with industrial part manufacturing and assembly plant processes and procedures.

- Experience in problem investigation and applying sound technical judgment to develop solutions.
