u Job Title: Senior Sourcing Engineer

Main Objectives:
u Work closely with the SCM team, peer groups to ensure Nordson's corporate (SCM) Supply Chain Management performance metrics are reached or exceeded.
u Implement Corporate Supply Chain Management Standard works and best practice throughout Product Support Purchasing at PDMC.
u Support the new product development and/or product transfer.
u Drive cost saving and productivity improvement by localization, negotiation, supply base optimization.
u Supplier development and management.
u Other task may be assigned by the manager or the company.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
u Supplier management and continuous improvement of supplier performance is a primary responsibility of this job. Promptly respond and meet personally with suppliers, at their facility or Nordson's facility to address issues as required to effectively manage them.
u Develop & execute against regional Commodity Strategies, & support their alignment with global Commodity Strategies.
u Negotiate agreements, terms, conditions, logistics and pricing with suppliers as required.
u Take the lead from purchasing under the supervision of the PSP supervisor to support product transfer, products improvement or new designed product implement.
u Manage material supply and stable and flexibility material supply to support business goals
u Communicate problems or difficulties related to the proper performance of the job. And recommending effective corrective action on problems.
u Follow all work processes, rules and expected behaviors for Nordson China employees .
u Perform other duties as assigned by manager .

Qualification Requirements / Degrees:
u College education or above, major in electronics-mechanicals is preferred.
Working Experience:
u 5 years total working experiences or more .
u At least 3 years working experience in purchasing within an international company.
u Experience in sourcing Pump/Motor/Cable Harness/Transformer/PCA, etc.
u PPAP, or lean project experience is a plus.

Skills:
u Be familiar with SAP or similar ERP.
u Be good at using MS-office software (excel, word, PPT, etc).
u Sourcing Skills.
u Fluent English communication skill both in writing and speaking.
u Strong communication skills with internal and external teams.
