Job Description

As a part of HP Software R&D team you will be working closely with HP Support team and HP Product team in worldwide to take part in the development of HP Discovery and Dependency Mapping Inventory, an important product of HP Software and also a leading product in global ITAM domain.

This position involves all phases of software development, including design, coding, unit-testing and debugging. HP uses agile software development methodology.

Candidate must have hands-on R&D experience in Enterprise System Development field, including maintenance or development. Candidates who have worked as Technical Lead in this area will be preferred candidates.

Qualifications
? A bachelor or above degree in computer-related fields
? Strong background in C++ (5+ years)
? Solid experience on various Windows and UNIX platforms (Linux, AIX, Solaris, HPUX, Mac, etc.)
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven software debugging skills
? Familiar with design methods/technologies, like object-oriented design, UML analysis, Design Pattern etc
? Solid English communication capabilities (verbal and written)
? Self-motivated, initiative and passion for learning new technology.
? Strong background in Network Management Software

Plus
? Good experience with SNMP, IPv6, SSL, etc.
? Databases Knowledge (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
? ITSM/ITIL experience is a great plus
? Agile development experience (XP, Scrum etc) is a great plus
? Openview or HP related product development experience is a great plus
? Experience in large-scale multi-tier software applications
? CCNP, CCIE certification is a plus
