Production Manager-Heibei Gold Mining Operations

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to join the Heibei mining Team. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring safety, production scheduling, production cost, plant productivity and operational improvement targets are met.

You will be responsible for leading functions such as Mine Planning and Geotechnical within Production Planning. This role will also be instrumental in the design and implementation of process, practices and plans to ensure production and expansion within the mine targets are met whilst maintaining safe operations.

Other day to day responsibilities will include:

Set the vision, strategy and long term goals for the mining production;

Lead transformational initiatives and role models change to ensure successful delivery and alignment with strategy.;

Ensure short term plans and mining schedules align with the long term mine requirements;

Identify and mitigate the risks (geotechnical, surveying, hydrogeological) associated with the short term mine plan; and Develop operating and capital forecasts and budgets for the mine

Manage and develop a team through effective supervision and coaching;

Facilitate continuous improvement within the workplace.

Ensure deadlines are met by planning production and resources in the most efficient way;

Ensure compliance with relevant and appropriate environmental commitments and legislative requirements

Skills & Experience
技能和经验

As the successful candidate you will have a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology or similar field of study. Extensive experiences within listed Mining Operations, Mine Planning and Quality control in large open pit and underground operations, along with initiative and practical problem-solving skills are integral to the success of this position. Experience with large ERP systems such as JD Edwards and a good command of English are highly preferred.
