Responsibilities

- Work with shift supervisor and team leaders on improvement of the production process

- Arrange with technical service department the necessary equipment for improvements

- Monitor and document trial runs with production during the improvement process

- Update all related documents after the improvement is approved and implemented

- Work with local purchasing on raw material sourcing respectively on supplier development

- Define and communicate technical specification to suppliers

- Run tests with production and quality team to validate raw material changes

- Documentation of raw material changes after final approval

- Work with local purchasing on machine sourcing

- Define and communicate technical specification to suppliers

- Gather information about possible machinery on the China market

- Technical assistance for market research

- Sample purchase and documentation

- Other tasks appointed by superior

Requirement:

- Bachelor degree or above

- Major in mechanical engineering

- Between two and five years related working experience in manufacturing company

- Familiar with knowledge of lean manufacturing.

- Good English skills (oral and written)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
