Job Purpose:

Responsible for meeting general purchasing needs in raw materials, packaging materials, MRO items, and services, including purchase requisition review, order placement, shipment expediting and de-expediting. May provide general administrative support to the Purchasing Department of China as required.



Qualification:
1.University Degree.
2.Professional certification a plus (APP/CPM/CIPS).
3.At least 3 years purchasing experience, of which 1 years in Food industry.
4.Fluent spoken and written Mandarine and English.
5.Self motivated, quick learner, organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task.
6.Effective communication skills to both internal and external entities.
7.Proven negotiation skills.
8.Strong proficiency in computer skills (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).


Requirement:

1.To be accountable for the entire purchasing cycle of assigned commodities and services.
2.To ensure that suppliers in assigned commodities meet the established delivery date at the lowest possible price consistent with required quality.
3.To develop and improve supplier relationship, which may require periodic travels.
4.To perform vendor audits and vendor rating.
5.To maintain contacts with internal customers and responds to inquires on delivery status, and requests for samples on a timely fashion.
6.To assist in conducting purchasing research, and in optimizing supplier base.
