Business Developer, will together with a Team:

Development of supplier performance:
- Constantly improve supplier performance to create capability for long term development.
- On every day base work to optimize costs of IKEA products.
- Transfer Category Business Plan to operational 1-12 month action plan for particular supplier.
- Together with each supplier set goals and create action plan that enhance the full potentials of the business.
- Execute fulfilment of goals and action plans.
- Negotiate with suppliers according to IKEA values and guidelines.
- Evaluate and develop existing production capacities.
- Cooperate in the product life cycle process.
- Builds effective and actively maintains relation with supplier.
- Is responsible that supplier meets social, environmental standards.
- Is responsible for the delivery and quality performance.
- In all situations act as an IKEA Ambassador.

Team development:
- Secure right competence to challenge and develop suppliers.
- Support development of a team.

Knowledge and Proven Experience:
- Material and production knowledge including cost of production within your area of responsibility
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Economic and Financial knowledge
- Excellent skills in working with the cost drivers in the purchasing part of the supply chain
- Appropriate knowledge about legal documents linked to IKEA purchasing operation
- Fluent in English
