Main Tasks:

- Setting business direction and goals for all suppliers in Category.

- Fully accountable for suppliers performance, development and relations.

Transfer of global Supply Chain/Category strategies into long term supplier development plan

Lead supplier performance to create capability for long term development

Working/Leading of Category projects

Evaluate and develop existing production capacities having in mind long term IKEA goals

- Team development and people leadership, responsible for securing and developing of the competence in Category.

Qualifications:

- Deep knowledge of purchasing or sourcing, familiar with purchasing development process is plus

- Proven experience in leading the business and people

- Ability to set goals, implement them and follow them up

- Ability to motivate co-workers and suppliers to reach goals

- Initiating and leading in change

- Production/purchasing/quality management experience in industry is an advantage
