Quality Leader is responsible for technology and quality issues in China Category, supports Business Development Manager and Category in reaching the expected Customer Experienced Product Quality and reducing the Cost of Poor Quality.
Main Tasks:

Work with Category through purchasing development, supplier development and product development

Keep alignment with Global and China quality strategy to lead and drive the quality agenda within Category

Being an important part in setting goals and priorities for Category

Be matrix responsible for Technicians in Category by providing expertise and professional supports, to secure and develop the technical competence

Develop and implement working methods and tools into Category Team’s daily work

Contribute and evaluate quality system implementation at the suppliers

Initiate, participate and contribute to projects as well as development activities within Trading China and Category

Qualifications:

• Proven strong leadership skills with 5 years above management experience in production, quality and/or manufacturing process
• A Manager in production or in quality function minimum 5 years
• Set goals and take the commitment, implement the goals and follow up
• Business mind combined with an understanding of the whole supply chain
• Good communication skills and the ability to work through and with project and matrix organization.
• Initiative and pro-active attitude with a “hands on” practical approach to the work
• Deep understanding of production quality management systems, material knowledge is plus
• Expertise of lean production is a must
• Self-driven with positive mindset
• Fluent oral and written English
• Be able to travel frequently
