Merchandiser
Primary Tasks
Accompany their visiting buyers to the factories. Facilitate the makers to follow and proceed the trip samples. Photograph samples for reference and push for pricing/samples on all trip samples.
Sampling. All trip samples need to be labeled scanned and the information inputted into company server for reference.
Order Processing. Deal with makers on order enquiries. Negotiate for better prices and lead times. Chase and check all aspects of approval sample. On approval of sample advise makers on production times and advise buyer on sample availability. Chase for production samples to ensure correct bulk production. Work with shipping dept. on weekly schedule.

Sampling development and re-sourcing. After receiving design sheets and new samples from brand buyer pass on information to maker for sampling. Advise price, mould charge, minimum quantities, sample lead time and production lead time to buyer.
Order listing. Email weekly order listing to UK logistics dept. Prepare KPI monthly.

Key Skills

Applicants must have good spoken and written English, have experience in jewellery production or working in a buying office and be a university graduate.
