Threat Operation Analyst is responsible for running the Threat Operations Center (TOC) at Cisco IronPort 24x7, 365 days a year. This talented individual must be flexible and be willing to work in the grave shift (14:00 -22:30). He/she will be part of a team that is responsible for our leading edge, Information Services, early warning system and anti-spam operations.

Responsibilities:
· Data analysis on viral/spam traffic, data sources from different perspective
· Threat assessment of viral activity
· Contribute to establishment of operational procedures
· Execute established operational procedures
· Provide inputs for creation of TOC metrics for monitoring response and efficacy
· Provide inputs to enhance monitoring and improve TOC response
· Provide inputs to enhance TOC tools for efficacy and usability
· Create detailed incident and shift reports
· Able to run the shift independently
· Catch virus/spam outbreaks persistently while keeping false positive rate low

Minimum Experience/Skill Requirements:
1) Excellent verbal and written English communications skills.
2) Ability to clearly follow processes and procedures.
3) Ability to make decisions using critical reasoning.
4) Extremely strong analytical skills to detect patterns and analyze massive data.
5) Experience at a mission critical operations center (data center or NOC), and data analysis background preferred.
6) Extensive knowledge about regular expression desired
7) Email, AntiSpam and AntiVirus experience desired
8) Experience working in Unix/Linux environment is a plus.
9) Minimum Educational Requirements: diploma and above
