GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

OBJECTIVE:

Achieve the yearly material cost saving to support Federal Mogul VCS Product Line Sealing cost-efficient purhcashing activity.To develop the supply base mainly in China and other part of Asia for Federal Mogul’s manufacturing and marketing of all responsible products and commodities world-wide. Support global sourcing activity success for VCS Sealing worldwide product growing.

MAIN Responsibility
? Achieve individual material cost saving objectives yearly
? Achieve the supplier DPO target yearly and supplier reduction target yearly
? Find and evaluate new suppliers, including assistance in quality audits and supplier development.
? Support the suppliers OTD and PPM target with SQD team
? Support global resourcing projects for VCS Sealing Product Line.
? Support the product development needs of Federal Mogul’s marketing and sales teams in Asia

COMPETENCIE/AUTHORITY:
? Supplier assessment and evaluation.
? New supplier development.
? Project management
? Price and terms negotiation.
? SAP or other similar ERP system

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

? BA in business or engineering.
? 3-5 years purchasing experience in the multinational company. Prior experience in automotive industry in Asia is preferred.
? Ability to work across a variety of cultures and mindsets.
? Strong understanding of the key success factors of efficient global supply chain management.
? Ability to work in a team environment across all corporate functions: engineering, marketing, purchasing, production.
? Good written and oral communication skills.
? Computer literate (Word, Excel, Access).
? Willingness and ability to travel.
? Self-motivated, able to manage many projects simultaneously.
? A system thinker able to understand and respond to the broad needs of internal customers.
? Solid analytical skills, with excellent follow-up and attention to detail.
? Proficiency in spoken and written English (MUST).
