GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:


? Coordination and development of marketing collateral and other tools necessary to generate and support local sales. Includes support and coordination of trade show exhibitions and technical days.
? Coordinate and manage market research, including competitive analysis and available market data.
? Work with other regional Product Managers to develop, communicate and implement marketing strategies of new products into the Chinese market. This includes the development of external product installation guides and internal product training materials.
? Management of product portfolio to achieve System Protection’s objectives of growth, profitability, and proprietary products. Includes management of products throughout their lifecycle, from strategic definition to end-of-life planning. Includes continuous evaluation of product positioning and performance/ profitability.
? Work with sales team and customers in order to understand regional product requirements so that market direction can be communicated to global product management team. This includes translating customer needs and technology directions into project justifications and product definitions.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


? BS degree in Technical Field or Business required. Advanced degree preferred.
? Prior experience in Marketing or Product Management required.
? Excellent communication and presentation skills.
? Experience dealing with diverse cultures.
? Knowledge of product development and sales procedures.
? Must be able to link sales/marketing tools to strategies and products.
? Willing to travel frequently with little notice.
? Foreign language skills (i.e. German, French) helpful.
