Part 1 Describe the Position
Summary
l To lead and build a strong application engineer team to support business growth as well as meet customer satisfaction by offering innovative product/system application know-how.
.
A) List the essential functions and major activities in order of their importance
l Lead the AE team to support sales to finish all incoming inquiries efficiently and professionally to meet the customer expectation, including analyzing technical requirements, product selection, making proposals both considering technical and commercial aspects for Flygt and Godwin products.
l Lead the team to support order & contract department to check the technical attachment in the order/contract to ensure the order is clean to avoid possible risk from technical side.
l Lead the team to support service engineers to get trained in time, and handle some difficult trouble-shooting cases from technical side.
l Lead the team to support marketing dept. to hold seminars, roadshow, exhibitions, big events, new products launch and some brochures translation.
l Lead the team to support external customers, such as end-users, design institutes, contractors and distributors for training, seminars, etc from technical side.
l To support sales to proceed margin calculation approval procedure smoothly.
l Build up overall application/system engineering capability locally.
l Improve the communication on products and applications with overseas and local manufacturers, to ensure all the knowledge could be transferred to application engineers timely and correctly.
l Set up performance review system for the individuals in the team and report on a monthly basis to improve the customer response efficiency. To develop and improve the working procedures to meet the higher requirement.
l Other duties and responsibilities assigned.
Part 2 Describe the Person
A) Minimum professional and educational background desired (include years of experience)
l Education: Bachelor Degree, B.S. in Mechanical, Engineering preferred.
l Experience: Minimum 5 years in a relevant industry. At least 2 years management experience.
l Good command of English (CET6) in written and oral
l Excellent PC skills including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
l Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
