Scope of Role:

Defend for compliance and operational risk management at MD end. Implement controls and monitoring within department to meet all regulatory and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities/Challenges:

1. Ensure all essential policy and regulatory requirements are communicated and disseminated to MD relevant parties on a timely basis.

2. Proactively communicate with the related party on non-compliance issues and ensure significant events are escalated promptly and appropriately

3. Support UORM/Sales Governance Team and Business Head to identify gaps and assist in coordinating, driving and directing effective operational risk management

4. Implement effective control measures and conduct constant monitoring for compliance and operational risk to ensure sufficient actions are undertaken to mitigate the identified operational risks

5. Ensure all customer complaint and customer negative feedback from call back are properly handled and conduct periodical trend analysis to initiate control measures

6. Assist the Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer (UMLPO) to ensure appropriate internal controls and procedures for money laundering prevention are in place and functioning as intended

7. Assist/coordinate in liaising & managing visits and inspections undertaken by internal / external auditors and regulators.

Selection Criteria:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Business proficiency in English and Mandarin

- Ability to deliver quality results under stress and deadline

- Strong ability in logical analysis and cooperation, demonstrated capability to solve complex and ambiguous problems with minimal guidance

- Cross team collaboration and strong sense of responsibility
