We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our organization in Qingdao, China.

SCOPE:

• Provide Sales Engineering support for customers in assigned region
• Penetrate and assess customer product road maps - determine potential areas for value add opportunities
• Act as lead interface between customer and Invensys Controls - leverage internal resources to identify and develop new product requirements and specifications
• Understand and promote full range of Invensys Controls technologies and capabilities
• Focus on developing and implementing new product opportunities for accelerating regional growth

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Meet key performance commitments including Plan Revenue, Profitability and New Product growth allocated to the North China region.
• Visit key OEM customers on a regular basis focusing on penetrating and developing solid relationships with the engineering and design groups
• Pull in technical and other resources as needed in order to identify, develop and launch new product ideas with key customers
• Promote the full range of Invensys technologies and applications available within the global product portfolio - act as catalyst for identifying potential new products
• Interpret and communicate customer needs and requirements on a high level to internal engineering group for further idea expansion
• Work closely with engineering and product marketing to supply market, customer and competitive data

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong technical capability - ideal candidate will have understanding of Electromechanical controls
• Curious thinker with good communication and relationship building skills
• Self-starter
• Good English and Mandarin
• Microsoft office tools: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and etc.
