Accountabilities
vServe as a leader and role model to drive a world class customer service experience through the development and implementation of strategic plans for carrier contract negotiations, warehousing,transportation network modeling, inventory control systems and freight planning.
vCommunicate company objectives and goals to line managers and key personnel in areas, divisions or functions under the logistical structure of the company such as, manufacturing, contracting, procurement and distribution.
vEstablish and manage goals for quality of service, cost and delivery.
vMake recommendations for organizational improvements to better support the customer service experience. Understand and react to the competitive landscape regarding company policies, procedures and systems with a customer impact:
ocost benefit/buy sell analysis and recommendations
omanagement and analysis of our customer feedback
obusiness systems improvement initiatives
Education
vUniversity master’s degree in business or related field
Qualifications
vAbility to positively communicate and demonstrate the company's core values by developing trust and respect among peers, working as a team and partnering with individuals at all levels of the organization, in a global, multicultural environment
vA self starting, forward thinking individual with strong interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills
vStrong analytical and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
vMinimum 10 years international logistics management experience
vOccasional International travel required
