Job Purpose:
Ensure smooth production planning. Manage vendor interfaces to make sure materials meet timeline and requested amount.

Main Responsibilities:
MRP Control

Make Material requirement planning. Ensure to get appropriate and adequate materials to perform the intended scope of work at expected production volume. Ensure to get right components at right time.Analyse MRP action message, review delivery schedules, edit missing part list from SAP and carry out corrective actions to resolve problems. Identify requirements for special parts, engineering changes and customer requests, etc. Procure parts in a cost effective and time efficient way.
Eliminating Supply Bottlenecks
Check order confirmations and follow up all orders on regular basis. Send reminder to suppliers if necessary;take preactions to ensure ontime delivery. Monitor receipts of incoming goods, handling claims from internal & external customers. Keep fluent communication with customer regarding BFE (buyer finished equipment) parts delivery. Edit Purchase Order line that cannot be received in system. Solve missing element of Purchase Order such as price missing...Send missing part list to supplier every week to trace the status. In case of constraints or delivery problems (e.g. shortages of Bill of Material, failure of quality, force majeure), taking measures to ensure smooth production (e.g. choosing/determining an alternative supplier, in consideration of quality, cost effectiveness and supply stability, for example). Initiate plan changes based on production schedule. (e.g. shifting of sequencing). Creating of schedule agreement in system, maintain SAP master data Reorder of parts in case they are damaged or missing, expired. Good subcontract components management.
Purchase order follow-up
Identify parts/material requirements, release Purchase Order to supplier and monitor deliveries. Guarantee material availability. Check technical documents for completeness. Urgent part follow-up.
Goods receipt and Inventory control
Match supplier invoices with Purchase Order. Evaluate inventory level; carry out cycle counting to keep stock accuracy. Identify Excessive/Obsolete Material and make action plan.
Participation in the Change Control Conference (Design Change Meeting)
Participate in the Design Change Meeting, as well as accomplish and integrate resolved changes( e.g. initiate, coordinate and monitor rectification work).

Qualifiactions:
Education: College degree or above; receive relevant on job training
Years of Experience:At least three years of professional experience as a production material controller in the
manufacturing industry
Language Skills: Good English spoken and written communication skills
Computer Skills: MS Office, SAP MM (Material Management)
Technical Knowledge:Very good knowledge in reading technical drawings, parts lists (BOM) and material master data
