Job Purpose:

Manage the warehouse and shipping operation, in meeting customer expectation and performance service standard through sound management of facilities, personnel and process.

Main Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:
Ensure all goods in the warehouse are properly collected, received, handled, accurately sorted, identified, transferred and dispatched. Physical goods information shall correspond to document as well as SAP information.
Ensure different type of goods are received and stored according to the company's logistics specifications. Follow-up supplier delivery quality to monitor its performance. Separate allocation of duty-bonded goods and none-bonded goods.
Strict management with BFE products (buyer furnished equipment) to reach zero tolerance of difference.
Monitor product& component shelf life and make action plan with other department to consume them.
Ensure ontime line feeding to production. Good planning of commission preparation. Quick response to urgent request from production department.
Good management of sub-contract components. Accurate recording in SAP.
Make budget including manpower requirement.
Ensure good condition of product &component through visual inspection or other test equipment, reference samples. Initiate complicated testing by other functions (e.g. the tool making shop). Perform goods receipt according to safety regulations.
Follow-up parts which are under quality inspection. Make timely goods receipt in system after releasing.
Arrange relocation in different storage bins to maximum use of space.
Monitor inventory levels, regularly perform and organise stock counting.
Ensuring that the activities are performed according to company policies and procedures and in compliance with safety and environment standards.
Follow calibration schedules for test equipment
Ensure 100% on-time and safety delivery to customers.
Adapt different ways to pack components to avoid any damage during storage and production period

People management:
Lead a team of warehouse staff to manage daily logistic operations. Be responsible for people development, performance review. Coach operators to meet job qualifications. Guide people to improve work process.

Shipping management:
Obtain and evaluate offers for domestic and international transportation, conduct agreement negotiation with different forwarders. Be responsible to control shipping operations, KPI measurement tool setup. Ensure deliveries comply with customer requirements. Drive shipping optimization (e.g. packaging, means of transport, marking, shipping documents) to better serve customer and reduce cost. Monitor new / changed regulations and legal stipulations (e.g. hazardous material lists, import and export regulations) and decide relevant actions.
Handling Customs matters: Prepare documents; take care of the daily customs clearance operations. Keep fluent communication with broker to shorten clearance time.

Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or above
Years of Experience: 3 years in professional field
Language Skills: Good English communication skills
Computer Skills: MS Office, SAP-MM (Material Management) and SAP-WM (Warehouse
Management)
