Job Purpose

Working together with Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Production to plan and optimize processes

Key Accountabilities

· Responsible for the release and update of material master data in SAP;

· Make and update the routings for final-assembly;

· Make and update general work description and process description;

· Make and update the requirement of new tools and fixture orders for final assembly;

· Responsible for workshop photo documentation, standard work instructions;

· Responsible for the layout and placement of production material and equipment;

· Organisation of Kaizen Workshops (improvement);

· Plan and optimize (suppliers) manufacturing and final assembly processes;

· Make and update packaging definition;

· Define material delivery to assembly line;

· Advise and assist other departments from a production standpoint;

· Responsible for time studies (REFA, MTM),sequence analysis, levelling, work load balancing;

· Perform failure analysis and develop together with production/quality/engineering department effective counter measures;

REQUIREMENTs

EDUCATION: College degree or above; receive training in mechanical engineering

EXPERIENCE: At least three years of professional experience as a planner/production engineer in the manufacturing and assembly, a REFA training is required

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Good English spoken and written communication skills

COMPUTER SKILLS: MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Project) user, SAP R3 skills (module PP)

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: Very good knowledge in reading technical drawings, parts lists (BOM) and material master data
