General Description of Role (Overview):

Jewelry Quality Control Inspector is responsible for evaluation of product quality in accordance to product's specifications

Key Areas of Responsibility Include:

• Need to have a clear understanding of the worldwide compliance requirements
• Have a clear understanding of company quality standards and all Standard Operating Procedures
• Perform in-line inspection and final inspection of product in accordance to product quality specification provided by US QA engineer through QC turnover samples and guidelines
• Follow brand specifications and AQL inspection plan
• Assure that all shipments have required lab testing documents with passing results for all our RS requirements
• Assure that all the necessary documents (IE: MDL, GCC, Inspection Report and etc.) are included in the shipments
• Coordinate the receipt of inspection package with US quality engineer. Assure that the entire requirement is clearly understood for accurate inspection
• Monitor quality control procedures as well as maintaining final inspection records of all shipments
• Report daily quality failures of each factory to superior, US QA engineer as well as US Director of QA
• Report a monthly summary performance of each vendor
• Inspect to assure that shipping carton compliance is being followed
• Randomly perform Human Rights evaluation to help maintain the factories HR responsibilities to Fifth & Pacific Companies
• Working location: Qingdao

Qualification for the Position (Working Experience, Education Level and etc.):

• University Graduate with minimum 2 years of experience or technical institute graduate
• Minimum 2 years experience in Jewelry manufacturing and quality inspection
• Must have understanding of jewelry manufacturing and be able to clearly use English for verbal and written communication
• Fluent in Putonghua
• Knowledge of computer skills on Microsoft's applications is required
• Must be influential in developing new vendors to our quality standards
• Must be motivated and able to work independently
