A successful International Food Company based in Qingdao and Huangdao with sister companies in the UK, USA and France. Due to continued expansion and progress within the company we are now seeking a high quality person to be based in Tai'an Farm for the following position:
Agricultural Technician
农业种植技术员
The Position:
1. Responsible of agronomic trial and help to manage strawberry crop in company’s farm located in Tai’an - Shandong, make clear report to present trials results, under the supervision of the farm manager.
2. Travel in North of China and provide technical support to the Chaucer farms.
3. Participate to Agricultural department projects development.
Detailed tasks
- Crop himself the trial fields and carefully note the quality and quantity of the fruits per plot
- Present the results in a clear report and give his conclusion about the trials
- Help farm manager to look after the workers during harvest season
- Visit the Chaucer farms and provide technical support in fertilization, irrigation, disease management, and nursery growing. Report to his manager.
- Deliver technical training to the growers.
The Person:
- Independent, good self organization and hard working
- Good communication skill, patient
- English speaking and writing
- Computer skills: Excel statistic data treatment, World, Internet
- Agronomic degree in vegetal production, at least college level.
- Previous experience in agronomic trial will be appreciated.
- The first three months, will be full time located in company’s farm, Tai’an area, Shandong province
- Expected to travel often inside and outside Shandong province.
