职位描述


Sales Strategy Development and Execution

  • Own and achieve/exceed sales targets within assigned region in China.
  • Develop a regional target list and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our reach with the potential business segments of B2B, B2B2C and B2C of:
  • Airlines, OTAs, Travel Agents, MICE DMC & PCO, Hotel Groups, Banks/Insurance Companies, Corporate Companies, Premium Service Aaggregators, Media & Advertising Companies…etc that is to drive sales within China market for domestic inbound travel and international outbound travel as well as overseas market to China for international inbound travel.
  • Establish sales partnership and network in the assigned region in China and to develop ancillary revenue to PPG’s business unit by promoting PPG’s media pack for naming right, advertising space, experience zone, F&B product placement.
  • Analyse and track partners’ performance to identify business potentials and opportunities.
  • Understand current competitive landscape for various PPG products.
  • Seek out new major clients and form business relationships with the key accounts/industries in the assigned region.
  • Effectively communicate PPG’s value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Accurately forecast future sales and market trends to adapt/shift direction of sales strategy effectively in the marketplace to maximise the Group’s profit.

                            

    

Sales Discipline

  • Accurately track and update of sales pipeline and revenue.
  • Disciplined approach to account management and tracking of sales calls.
  • Regular maintenance of client account information.
  • Adherence to all sales procedures and processes.
  • Maintain effective control of local and regional sales budget and expenses.

                        

    

    

    

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting business relationships.
  • Partner with potential clients to understand their business needs and objectives to grow new and incremental business.
  • Liaise with HQ’s respective functional team to articulate business needs efficiently (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, etc.)

                

    

Other Responsibilities

  • Represent PPG to serve as a business professional at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions in China.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.


JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales management role with a good network of contacts within key source markets related to travel/hotel/airlines industry and/or luxury/premium products & services.
  • Demonstrable experience in a sales role, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Able to work from scratch and grow the business.
  • Understanding of the hospitality environment with close contacts of airline, banking, credit card products, premium retail brands will be a definite advantage.
  • Ability to take decisive actions, work under pressure with good prioritization skills.
  • Strong listening, negotiation and presentation skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to present and influence others.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn.
  • Strong ability in cross-team cooperation and project management.
  • Happy to conduct business travel, domestic and international, on behalf of the company.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, verbal and written.
