In this role, you have the opportunity to

Clinical data-based research and modeling (statistical and AI), with a good opportunity of industry translation, to support clinical decision in complicated and vital clinical scenarios and to deliver healthcare insights with health-economics impacts.

 

You are responsible for

- Design and conduct clinical studies with Philips strategic customers;

- Trans-modality clinical studies involving data acquired in complicated clinical scenarios (ICU, etc.) and other vital medical information (digital pathology, genome sequencing, laboratory examinations, and medical imaging systems...);

- Statistical and AI models development for clinical decision support;

- Health-economics studies;

- Identify technique development opportunities through the research collaborations with top clinical experts in the field;

 

You are a part of

You are part of Clinical & Technical Solutions team with colleagues who graduated from well-known universities such as Columbia University, Cambridge University, Peking University, Tsinghua University and the University of Hong Kong. You will have close interaction with local and global Clinical Science team, R&D team, relevant business units and market organization.

 

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

- MS, MD or PhD degree in critical care medicine, epidemiology, medical statistics, public health, biomedical engineering, physics or other relevant technical background.

- Strong communication skills (clinical and technical) and teamwork.

- Can create trust, build and maintain relationships, connect and inspire.

- Strong problem solver capability and business orientation.

- Strong capacity to learn and apply advanced knowledge.

- Good writing skills (Chinese and English).
