About SSB China and job background:

SSB China was founded in Qingdao, China in 2005, Nidec acquired SSB China in 2017, now SSB China belongs to Nidec NIS business group.  

 

NIS is a global leader in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in the world.  NIS achieved 30% market share in Europe with strong technical ability.

 

NIS is transferring more products of BESS system to China, we plan to hire one manager for this new role.

  

 

 

Job Requirement:

 

1. Bachelor degree or above;
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal engineer or sales engineers in utility scale renewable energies EPC projects;
3. Proven experience with Utilities, IPP, Developers, TSOs, DSOs, DoE, DoD;
4. Proven experience to work in multinational environment;
5. High level of commitment and responsiveness;
6. Demonstrated teamwork skills;
7. Strong analytical ability;
8. Proven expertise in grid codes, energy and power intensive BESS application, PCS and Power Management System

 

Job Description:

 

1. Analyze the request by the customer or public bid and develop the technical and economic proposal of battery Energy Storage System, Photovoltaic Power Plant, Micro-grid and/or PCS, PMS, EMS supply.
2. Prepare the sizing and technical configuration of the BESS, PV, Micro-grid as best fit to customer or the bid.
3. Support the BESS team in the project execution.
4. Provide Technical support to the Sales team in the negotiation with the customer.
5. Interact with corporate engineering, R&D and purchasing department to evaluate cost and technology and to select partner and suppliers.
6. Prepare the technical documentation (datasheet, technical specification, products and EPC warranties) and the cost estimation for any project in the region.
7. Support Sales Headcount the definition of the scope of supply and contractual conditions (product warranty, system warranty, EPC performance warranty, project schedule warranty) to be included in the contract.
