KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.Implement layout/envelope investigations, preparing customer drawings, taking the applicable regulations and the customer-specific definition documents into account.

    

2.Further develop existing overall seat systems or subassemblies and implement the adaptation design in compliance with the individual customer requirements.

    

3.Entrusted with special constructions, ensure the integration of different electronic and electric components into the seat structure and process continuous product improvements by making use of the existing change management.

    

4.Work out drafts, detail design for passenger seat components based on requirements from CCPs by following the construction methods and procedures, taking costs and weights into account, and assure the compliance with the relevant provisions.

    

5.Supervise and support your scopes of design at production start-up.

    

6.Enter the gained experience into the Lessons learned Data Base of Platform and Module Development.

    

    

QUALIFICATION

    

EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or above; majoring in the field of aviation and space technology, mechanical engineering mechatronics or automotive engineering.

    

EXPERIENCE: Min 1 year professional experience in development and customer-oriented project work is required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Good English spoken and written communication skills.

    

COMPUTER SKILLS: MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Project) user; good knowledge in a CAD 2D/3D system, preferably CATIA V5;

    

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge on mechanical and electronic components and in the calculation and design of lightweight structures. in the ideal case also knowledge of the FMEA design methods;

    

Knowledge and experience in dealing with design manuals and kinematical models.
