Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB)
Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers’ needs.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will


The role reports to Senior Premier Proposition Manager. It has accountability for providing locally compelling proposition offer and ensure the customer voice is at the heart of the country proposition. The role holder takes responsibility to
?Work with Group, Region and the Country Distribution teams, the role holder is responsible for enhancing the customer experience and supporting Premier customer growth, and deepening of client relationships.
?Formulate and implement customer-centric proposition-led strategies, covering both Retail Banking and Wealth Management, to deliver outstanding customer experience to grow the business in a sustainable manner.
?Define Premier propositions for different customer segments, based on customer insights (from both external market research and internal analytics), and determine the optimal products and services (along with the relevant sales and service model) to be provided to the target customers to best fulfill their needs.
?International leverage offerings (with emphasis on International Education) to fully capture the business opportunities associated with the Chinese diaspora and Non-resident Chinese.
?Work with product managers to develop product offerings (including but not limited to Investments, Insurance, Transactional Banking, Mortgages) as well as services (e.g. financial planning, wealth insights) using a proposition-led approach, taking into consideration the appropriate distribution channels and processes (e.g. embedding Digital into customer touch points or streamline processes), to ensure that the differentiated product offerings are both relevant and compelling to each of the target customer segments to support China's aggressive customer growth ambition.
?Define customer journeys and engagement frameworks, encompassing the entire customer life cycle (covering customer onboarding, relationship growth, advocate and retention) of different target customers taking into consideration their different needs and preferences, to optimise customer experience with the bank as well as establish and strengthen customer relationships in the most effective and efficient manner via an integrated multi-channel strategy (e.g. Digital, Contact Centre, Branch).
?Leverage on the enhanced analytical capabilities (e.g. Big Data and Machine Leaning) to better understand (through both internal profile and transactional data, supplemented by potentially external data bases) the target customers for product and service development as well as customer engagement
?Work with Marketing to develop marketing programmes and initiatives to ensure that key business programs and initiatives are promoted and communicated (including both above the line communication as well as below the line) to the target audience in the most effective and efficient manner (including both digital / online as well as non-digital /offline)

Qualifications



To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements


?University degree with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
?Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Able to work independently and under pressure
?Customer centric mindset and ability to manage complex interactions effectively
?Ability to bring divergent ideas to create new and valuable solutions
?Proficiency in both English and Chinese
