As a Business Partner for the Human Resources team located in Shanghai, you will manage regional HR operations to support assigned business teams under the leadership of APAC Operations VP. You will contribute to HR practices and initiatives in partnership with managers to promote the achievement of business goals.

RESPONSIBILITY:

  

• You will work closely with specific managers and their teams as a strategic partner by providing support, delivery and advisory services in key areas such as performance and change management, talent acquisition and compensation and benefits as well as data analysis to fulfil operational objectives.

• You will present HR issues and propositions to management from a business perspective in order to ensure continuously add value to the organization.

• You will support and advise APAC Operations executive on HR policy, ensuring compliance to the company's policies

• You will serve as an escalation point for personnel and employee relations issues and providing guidance and intervention, as needed

• You will update management on a variety of matters including absence, poor performance, terminations, disciplinary and grievance matters, advising on legal framework, options and potential risks

• You will support China plants for all HR programs assigned by your manager, and drive workforce capability improvement and plant organization change.

REQUIREMENTS:

  

• To succeed at this job, you must have: knowledge of local legislation, labor practices, and experience with HR information systems and recruitment, also knowledge of Manufactory HR management as well as employee relation skills including the ability to influence and communicate across all employee levels.

• It would be preferred if you have strong skills in decision making, problem-solving and analysis and good negotiation, influence, mediation and conflict management
• We would like someone to join our team who is independent, resourceful, self-motivated, results-driven, business-minded as well as a good team player and Good communication (written and oral) in English and interpersonal skills

• You must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.

• We are looking for someone with at least 8 years HR experience including 5 years HR BP experience in MNC and an interest in understanding internal team operations and translating their business needs into HR actions.
