Robertshaw is looking for an experienced Product Manager to concentrate on the management of smart / connected residential appliances through their life cycles from start to finish. This person will execute the portfolio strategy as a means of providing customers with relevant, value-added product solutions, drive growth of the business and contribute to future strategic planning and profitability objectives. The position will be based in Itasca with travel of 15%.

Notice: This position need work in Itasca (U.S), Robertshaw can support qualified candidate apply for U.S. work permit visa. The qualified candidate who have already permanently authorized to work in the U.S. will be priority!

PLM Roles and Responsibilities

· Create sustainable value to all stakeholders

· Create and execute a rigorous sales and profit growth strategy (Gamma Initiative)

· Drive the routine self-assessment of the product portfolio and the development and introduction of new products prioritizing by highest economic impact

· Implement an effective management operating system (MOS) that integrates the coordinated review and execution of the sales pipeline, account opportunities and leads across the entire enterprise with routine engagement with each account

· Optimize value proposition to the market by strategically road-mapping the lifecycle of assigned products and managing

· Be accountable for driving continuous grow the top and bottom-line profitability of assigned products

· Track and communicate performance of product categories from both macro and micro levels

· Perform proactive and continuous business intelligence to identify competitive industry trends and using them to update product portfolio and defining the best pricing strategy and innovation roadmap

· Formulate price strategy that is the foundation of supplier negotiations on product cost, MOQ’s and business terms and operational excellence targets

· Own and drive technical customer feedback on products portfolio gaps, customer needs and preferences to ensure the competitiveness of the value offer

· Assist in writing business cases and white papers supported by analysis and research to innovate new product introductions (NPI’s)

· Project-manage NPI’s selected for development

· Viewed as an expert on the product, process, and market

· Manage existing and new third-party supplier relationships

· Assist in providing training, marketing support and product expertise to customers

Qualifications you will need:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering required

· Strong project management skillset; process-driven mindset and capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

· 5+ years of product management experience in EMS (preferably Appliance Residential, Commercial or Industrial product environment)

· 3+ years of supplier negotiation and program management tangible experience

· Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, OEM Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Distribution and Supply Chain teams to drive projects and product related efforts to completion

· Experience in electronic products marketing or merchandising utilizing print and digital mediums

· Adaptability, self-awareness, collaboration

· Ability to manage multiple projects in prioritized fashion with strong attention to detail

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to think conceptually

· Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint and experience utilizing pivot tables to assess data and perform analytics

· Comfortability presenting to management and customers

· Positive attitude with high-energy for driving positive outcomes

Experiences and Skills We Value:

· Knowledge on Secure Cloud Platforms, App Solutions Development and Deployment and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, GPRS Embedded Modules

· Familiar with ISO 27001 (info security management), ISO 27017 (cloud information security), ISO 27018 (personal data) and obviously ISO 9001, FCC/CE/SRRC & ROHS/REACH environmental standards

· Experience in Miniaturization: Enabler for communications, Small electronic packages, High power density and Advanced electronics

· Experience in AI: Machine learning, Context aware devices and Data mining

· Experience in IoT and Connectivity: BT, Wifi, Cellular, 5G, Security & Privacy and Cloud

· Customer success paranoia and a bold passion for working towards results and customer satisfaction.

· Business sense, strategic planning, analytical, communication, project management, and change management skills.

· Practical skills in managing large IT/data intensive platform projects including Plex (or similar ERP), SugarCRM (or similar) and other business intelligence analytical tools.
