Key Responsibilities/Tasks:

? Coordination with the team in Europe and China to drive the sales of the service and develop a general understanding of the product in the own sales rows.

? Assist with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP’s), preparing presentations and monitoring sales leads and responses.

? Approach joint Sales Calls with the local teams to bring the sale over the finishing line and understand the client’s requirements in terms of Rail transport and performance indicators.

? Develop and implement sales plans and sales campaigns to take advantage of market opportunities.

? Revisit the SOP on a regular basis to adjust when necessary with operational teams in Europe & China.

? Actively ensure a direct communication with internal clients as well as external clients.

? Create monthly reporting with statistics and growth plan of the Railway product to set and achieve KPIs

? Provide necessary details to all teams in terms of pricing, solution, SOP & enable the sales team to close sale of Rail service.

? Ensure communication with Partners/Carriers to support additional Volume and arrange regular pricing tools.

? Active vetting of Suppliers and Supplier on-boarding through own research to choose best supplier for different service levels.

? Conduct regular Rail operation review meetings with operational team to improve service level and meet customers expectation.

? Start Product related Promotions together with Sales Teams to actively target specific client groups and reach monthly Volume growth.

? Support operational team when required and necessary.

Qualifications:

? Self-Starter with strong background in the Rail freight logistics

? 3+ years working experience in a Freight Forwarding company or Rail Platform company

? Understanding of Customs process in China and Europe as well as regulations of Rail Logistics

? Good internal selling skills

? Command of written and spoken English & Mandarin, additional European language a plus

? Degree in Business or Logistics related field
