Purpose of the Job:

Leveraging business information, business analyses, and decision support to improve profitability.

Your Role:

1. Business Intelligence & Reporting
？ To elicit requirements/needs (existing and future) from internal customers and key stakeholders to ensure their needs on Business Intelligence are fully understood.
？ Critically evaluate data and information gathered from multiples sources and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
？ Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers and suppliers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed.
？ Extracting data from BW, SAP, and other data system (internal and external) to enable analysis on  spend map for assigned category and interact with Category Manager to ensure cost components and critical information of the full value chain of the category are fully understood.
？ Work with Category Manager, Purchasing Manager, and other functions to optimize data and information management for Purchasing.
？ To conduct market research on assigned category, analyzed market information, and discuss with Category Manager / Purchasing Manager to ensure Business Intelligence for the said category are maintained and managed.
？ To prepare report (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc) as required by key stakeholders.

2. Work with Global or Regional Category Managers to work on marketing analysis projects
？ Support marketing analysis projects for the unique sourcing requests etc.
？ Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers that comes from technical department etc.

Your Profile

1. At least 5 years relevant working experience in an international environment with bachelor degree; or at least 3 years relevant experience with master degree; the majors in Finance/Economics, Marketing, Computer Science and/or Analytical, Mathematics (modelling/Statistical tool etc) are preferred
2. Communication skills: ability to describe the data, explain his or her analysis of that data, and then offer possible solutions. This involves describing complex technical information to non-BI professionals.
3. Strong analytical skill and problem solving skill: is able to offer solutions to internal key stakeholders/customers.
4. Programming/application skill: Professional level in data related programming, e.g., SQL (or Structured Query Language) or other BI programming languages including establishing user friendly interface for key stakeholders/customer (internal). SAP, Cognos, Java, Microsoft office.
5. Relevant industry knowledge
6. Good time management skill
7. Proficient in Math, Statistics, Quantitative Methods
8. Good verbal and writing in English
