TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer 

REPORTING TO: Manufacturing Team Leader

REPORTS: No Reports

SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION ON THE ORGANIZATION:

? Member of the Project assembly manufacturing team embedded in the project. Focus on daily tasks connected to manufacturing lines like:

? New product assembly process design

? Current process optimization

? Low cost integrated automation and Patents

? Conversion cost targets

? Ergonomics

? Safety

? Support new product launch and ramp-up

? Support manufacturing engineering related to VS

? Problem resolution

? Definition of the Bill of Process (BOP)/Bill of Tech (BOT) and validates it in production

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Ensure on-time SOP of new launch;

? Ensure and confirms sufficient manufacturing capacity to react on demand changes provided by logistics

? Eliminate process related failure modes for new products and new transfer product variants

? Ensure conformance to change management.

? Manufacturing line / station releases connected to new product launches and process changes.

? Develop process documents with cross-functional team for new launch project

? Ensure flawless handover of new productions to VS

? Continue to support on new production during the first 6 months after SOP

? Long term validation of established processes regarding quality and cost, implementation of corrective actions

EXPERIENCE:

? >=3 years of process engineering design and project management experience

? Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic/Mechanical Engineering

? Independent of the assembly process design experience and PKYK design experience

? Knowledge concerning time study, motion study , layout planning and other industrial engineering function is appreciated

? Team manage experience preferred

TECHNICAL/PROCESS COMPETENCIES:

? Knowledge in area of mechanics, pneumatics and/or electronics

? 3D/2D design experience required

? Automatics, electrics and sensor

? Problem solving resolution tools

? PFMEA, MSD, Process Flow,

? Management System Knowledge: ISOTS 16949, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, VDA

? Problem solving tools: QR6S

? English proficiency
