职位描述

I. Purpose of Position

The Senior China Textile Business Development Manager will achieve the annual design win and revenue plan and build robust pipeline funnel to sustain aggressive year-over-year growth target. Build relationships with direct key account customers, channel partners and Pantone colleagues when relevant to grow the overall key account business on a Greater China basis. And act as bridge between sales team and customer for project delivery.

II. Key Responsibilities

  1. Help brand owners establish Standard of Procedure & specify X-Rite solution in color management therefore identify and realize revenue opportunities directly to brand owners and to respective supply chains

  2. Create clear visibility on customers’ decision made process, suppliers, and problems, then initiate the projects and build robust pipeline funnel to capitalize the opportunities.

  3. Initiates new customer relationships, develops customer account strategies and tactical plans.

  4. Design and deliver customer-centric solutions and commercial proposals, effectively steers and expedites sales process through customer hurdles (legal, IT), and secures Purchase Orders in a timely fashion.

  5. Have full ownership of assigned key accounts and provide support to channel sales to drive sales at supply chains.

  6. Maintains active dialogue with Pantone colleagues on identifying joint sales opportunity. Active collaboration on identified joint projects.

  7. Job functions include but are not limited to those listed.

III. Measures of Performance

  • Achieve sales quota and KPIs

  • Sales force timeliness and effectiveness

  • Other sales standard work

IV. Background and Skill

  • Bachelor degree in Textile, or related fields is preferred.

  • At least 5 years of high level Business Development experience or Account Management experience and success in selling enterprise solution software plus implementation services, preferable within brand owner environment.

  • Proficiency in English required;

  • Highly developed Account Management skills and experienced in a structured sales environment with a proven success record.

  • Ecosystem knowledge of textile industry.

  • Industry knowledge of color quality and color formulation and experience in related domains is an asset.

  • Experience with supply chain management is preferred.

  • Highly developed team selling skill.

  • Strong account management skill

  • Ability to travel through the Greater China region, up to 50%.

  • Ability to effectively perform the entire above mentioned essential job functions.
